Community Education Update

  • Community Education office is open for business.  Masks are required to enter the office area located at 8500 E. Jackrabbit Road, Scottadale, AZ 85250.  If you feel more comfortable, you are able to make an appointment for registration, questions, or payments for Kids Club or Early Learning (Preschool/Pre-K).  For appointments please call 480-484-7900 or email Claudia Hernandez at claudiahernandez@susd.org.

    Preschool/Pre-K registration is open  If you are interested in having your 3 or 4 year old attend a licensed Early Childhood program with a certified teacher register today at www.susd.org/preschool

    Kids Club   Beginning with dates in November, our before and afterschool care program "Kids Club" will be available to purchase on a daily basis.  Students will need to be registered by 11:59 PM on the Thursday prior to the week to avoid late registration fees.  There will be a $5 late fee assessed for signing up after the cut-off date (per day per program) .

    Enrichment Programs   Beginning in January, Community Ed is happy to offer a variety of Virtual Enrichment programs, as well as, some outdoor athletic Enrichment which will be held in person.  For details, click Enrichment Zone.

  •  Enrichment Zone

    Enrichment Zone engages students before and after the school day on campus in fun activities that create a desire to learn. Classes are offered throughout the year, giving students an opportunity to explore activities that interest them outside of the regular school program.  Information on upcoming programs will be provided through Peachjar

  •     Kids Club

    Kids Club is a licensed before- and after-school program administered by Scottsdale Unified School District’s participating schools. 

    Early Bird drop off begins at 6:30 a.m.  After-school operates from school dismissal time until 6:30 p.m. Students are greeted each day by qualified child care specialists who facilitate activities that may include: arts and crafts, active group games, sports, team-building exercises, science, technology and supervised homework time. Snacks are served every day.

     

     

  •  Early Learning  

    SUSD offers tuition-based programs for Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K). Throughout our preschool and Pre-K programs, certified and licensed teachers provide developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to each child, ultimately preparing them for Kindergarten.  Register today online
