What a privilege it is to be the Principal of Mohave Middle School.  I am so grateful to have the opportunity to serve the students, families, staff, and community of Mohave Middle School.

I am a Phoenix native and an SUSD alumni where I attended Tavan, Ingleside, and graduated from Arcadia High School.  I am a proud recipient of the Scottsdale Charros Future Teacher Scholarship where I went to Arizona State University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Multilingual/Multicultural Elementary Education. I continued my education by attending graduate school at Grand Canyon University, earning my Master's Degree in Education Administration.

As a former middle school math teacher, I love being back at middle school.  I have spent the past 5 years being a middle school Principal in Paradise Valley, and prior to that I was an Assistant Principal at Coronado High School for 6 years. My wife and I have been married for 7 years and we are blessed with one son who will eventually attend SUSD as we are community members.

I invite you to say “hello” and introduce yourself.  I look forward to meeting each family that makes up this outstanding community at Mohave Middle School.  Please feel free to contact me at 480-484-5200 or via email at paulferrero@susd.org  if you have any questions or would just like to introduce yourself.

It is my pleasure to be able to serve Mohave Middle School as your Assistant Principal! Prior to becoming  an assistant principal, I had many experiences as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and language coordinator in various districts.  Even with these amazing experiences, I will always be a teacher at heart. I have 11 years of classroom teaching experience in districts in Wisconsin and in Arizona. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education grades (1-8) from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, a Master’s of Education from Holy Family College, a Certificate of Special Education and Pupil Services from Holy Family College, and I am working towards my Doctorate of Organizational Leadership in K-12 education from Grand Canyon University. By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning.

Outside of school, I like to golf, travel, spend time with family, and watch various sports. I am native to Wisconsin, but love to call Scottsdale my home.  My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and culture at Mohave Middle School that is conducive to the highest levels of teaching and learning. It is my goal to inspire excellence and have all students experience growth to their highest potential. I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community this year!

I am proud to be a Wildcat!
