Visitors & Volunteers

  • Parents who are scheduled to volunteer on campus are required to sign in at the front office, provide ID, and wear a visitor badge any time they are on campus. Other adult visitors must make arrangements with the front office to visit our campus. Student visitors are not permitted.

Principal Christopher Hodo

    Mr. Hodo will begin his fourth year as the principal of Pima Elementary School. Mr. Hodo has a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in English Education, a Master of Science degree from Drake University in Effective Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Urban Education, and a Specialist Degree from Drake University in Educational Leadership. Mr. Hodo began his career in the state of Iowa as a high school English teacher where he taught for eight years. He then became an assistant principal for five years before coming to the state of Arizona.

    Mr. Hodo has been married for twenty-one years and has three children. He has a twent-year-old son that attends Northern Arizona University, a nineteen-year-old daughter that will attend Grand Canyon University and an eight-year-old son that attends Pima. In his spare time, Mr. Hodo enjoys spending time with his wife and children, making music, BBQing briskets, and watching sports. Mr. Hodo is thrilled about another great year at Pima.

Assistant Principal Amber Allen

    Dr.  Amber Allen is in her third year as the assistant principal at Pima Elementary School. A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Dr. Allen has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in History and Social Studies Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. In the fall of 2023, she completed her doctorate in Educational Leadership. This will be Dr. Allen's 15th year in education. She began her career in education as a middle school Social Studies and English Language Arts teacher. She was an instructional coach for two years before becoming an assistant principal in the southeast valley. 

    Dr. Allen has been married for thirteen years and has an eleven-year-old daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, kayaking, walking her dog, playing pickleball and rooting for Arizona State University. Go Devils! Dr. Allen looks forward to a great school year and showing off her Panther Pride.
