    With twenty years of educational experience and six years in leadership and administrative roles, Mrs. Perry is proud to serve as your Yavapai principal for the upcoming school year!

    Mrs. Perry attended the University of Arizona and earned her initial Master’s in Education of Curriculum and Instruction through the University of Mary, Bismarck, North Dakota.  She followed up with a second Master’s in Supervision and Administration through the University of Phoenix. 

    Mrs. Perry served the Hohokam Elementary School community as their assistant principal from 2019 to 2023.  Prior to that, Mrs. Perry was a Title 1 instructional coach, gifted specialist, reading specialist, and classroom teacher.  She possesses extensive curricular and instructional expertise.  Her experience includes working in several schools with Title 1 programs and varying specialty programs such as Spanish immersion, gifted, AVID, developmental preschool, and self-contained special education classrooms.

    Mrs. Perry’s passion for education is rooted in her strong desire to serve the SUSD community.   She believes that when expectations are set high, students will flourish.  Under her collaborative leadership style, Mrs. Perry is dedicated to seeing the Coronado Promise actualized for each one of her Yavapai students!

    Mrs. Nowacki, a product of Cherokee Elementary and Chaparral High School, is thrilled to be the Assistant Principal at Yavapai. Mrs. Nowacki is a 22-year veteran of education. The bulk of her experience comes from 20 years teaching 3rd-6th graders. In addition to Mrs. Nowacki’s classroom experience, she has also been an Instructional Coach and a Teacher on Special Assignment. Her education degrees come from Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University.
